It can be quite embarrassing if you ever ask the store clerk “how much” for anything in an LV store, that’s just something you would expect when shopping for some of the best designer clothing and luxury goods.

Luckily what I’ve done is I’ve went to the Louis Vuitton UK store and found out how much it’ll cost for my Speedy 25 monogram canvas so I’d have a rough idea of how much this beautiful bag would cost.

List of UK Prices:

Monogram Canvas

  • Speedy 25 – £400.00        >>        RM2,560
  • Speedy 30 - £410.00        >>        RM2,700
  • Speedy 35  – £430.00        >>        RM2,900
  • Neverfull PM – £400.00        >>        RM2,550
  • Neverfull MM – £425.00        >>        RM2,700
  • Neverfull GM – £450.00        >>        RM2,950
  • Alma – £655.00        >>        RM4,300
  • Alma MM – £840.00        >>        RM5,400
  • Galliera PM – £800.00        >>        RM5,100
  • Galliera GM – £920.00        >>        RM5,700

The Louis Vuitton Malaysia Price list shown above is just a rough estimate for how much they’ll cost in store by converting the UK prices in pounds into Ringgits at a rate of 6.4.

The prices may not be an accurate reflection of the price you may expect in the stores. However, this should serve as a rough guide for you to know now how much your favourite Louis Vuitton handbags would cost.

In anycase most people would normally buy Louis Vuitton overseas because it can be much cheaper. A quick tip when going overseas such as to Paris, is to tell them that you’re Malaysian rather than Chinese, there are rumours that they won’t allow you to buy more than 1 handbag if they suspect you’re going to bring it back and use it for counterfeiting.

For other alternatives look online, there are great places to buy Louis Vuitton handbags if you know where to look.

If you have any questions or, If i’ve made a mistake in the pricing then please comment below!

Thank you

Louis Vuitton Speedy Songket and Batik?

Following a few news stories, such as this one and this one, apparently big  name european brand designers such as our favorite; Louis Vuitton, along with Giorgio Armani, and Prada are showing keen interest in batik and songket textiles from the state of Terengganu.

Perhaps we will eventually see the local textiles industry flourishing because of these new developments. There was talk during a promotional blitz, by the state government in Milan, Barcelona, London, and Paris where the representatives of the top brand name companies such as the ones mentioned above showing very keen interest in Malaysia’s local textiles.

What this might mean for us is that we may see elaborate patterns and designs from the songket or batik being featured on new brand name collection models, seeing how these European designers are so impressed by the textiles and patterns of Malaysia.

It would be quite interesting to see how these patterns and designs will translate onto some of LV models such as Speedy or Alma!! I don’t knwo about most people but I still prefer to keep my monogram canvas :p songket and batik don’t really appeal to me and I don’t think they will look good.

You could imagine how many people would scream “FAKE!” when they see Batik patterned LV bags ….

Louis Vuitton On eBay!?

As you would know, LV’s are only sold at Louis Vuitton stores and their official website, if sold anywhere else then it’s most likely fake! This is because Louis Vuitton don’t really like resellers and there are no wholesale or discounts.

So because of that there’s, hardly any independent merchants that can offer them at lower prices unless they’re fake. What most people would normally do is to travel all the way to Europe and purchase their Louis Vuitton handbags there. But then again, this can be very expensive, so some of the best option is to go online.

Now many people can buy LV on eBay the trick to know which sellers are trustworthy. I’ve compiled a list of eBay resellers that do offer genuine and authentic Louis Vuitton. Simply go to eBay and type in their names.
